    1.OUT OF BOUNDS 

    • a) Beyond any fence, hedge, ditch or gate bounding the course. This includes the hedge to the left of the 5th hole and on or beyond the white out of bound posts to the left of holes 1,2,3 and 4 and behind hole 9.
    • (b) The practice ground as indicated by the white out of bound posts to the right of holes 1 and 2.

    2. PENALTY AREAS

    • These are indicated or defined by red stakes and or/red lines.

    3. ROADS AND PATHS

    • All paths and parts thereof within the boundary of the course which are artificially surfaced are immovable obstructions and relief may be taken under rule 24-2.

    4. STONES IN BUNKERS

    • Are movable obstructions (Rule 24-1 applies)

    5. PROTECTION OF YOUNG TREES

    • Identified by a stake, guard, wire netting or tube. If such a tree interferes with the player’s stance or the area of his/her intended swing, then the ball MUST be lifted, without penalty, and dropped in accordance with procedure prescribed in Rule 24-2 (b) (i)
    • (Immovable Obstruction). The ball may be cleaned when so lifted.

    6. GROUND UNDER REPAIR

    • If a player’s ball lies in an area of ground under repair or if such an area interferes with the player’s stance, or the area of his/her intended swing, the player MUST take relief under rule 25-1.

    7. FIXED SPRINKLER HEADS

    • All fixed sprinkler heads are immovable obstructions and relief from interference by them may be obtained under rule 24-2. In addition, if such an obstruction on or within two club-lengths of the putting green of the hole being played intervenes on the line of play between the ball and the hole, the player may obtain relief, without penalty, as follows: If the ball lies off the putting green but not in a hazard and is within two club lengths of the intervening obstruction, it may be lifted, cleaned and dropped at the nearest point to where the ball lay which (a) is not nearer the hole, (b) avoids such intervention and (c) is not in a hazard or on a putting green.

    8. OVERHEAD ELECTRICITY CABLES

    • If a ball strikes an overhead cable or supporting pole, the stroke must be replayed, without penalty, in accordance with Rule 20-5.

    9.PENALTY FOR BREACH OF LOCAL RULES

    • 5,6,7,& 8. Match play – loss of hole; Stroke play – two strokes.
