Terms & Conditions of Membership

1. Membership Eligibility
1.1 Membership is subject to approval by Norwood Management.
1.2 The Golf Club reserves the right to refuse any application without obligation to provide a reason.
1.3 Members must provide accurate and complete information during application.

2. Membership Categories
2.1 Membership categories and associated benefits are determined by the Club
2.2 The Club reserves the right to amend membership categories, benefits, and pricing at its discretion.
2.3 Membership is non-transferable.

3. Membership Fees
3.1 Membership fees must be paid in full or via an agreed payment plan.
3.2 Failure to make payments may result in suspension or termination of membership.
3.3 All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated by the Club.

4. Code of Conduct
4.1 Members must behave in a respectful manner at all times.
4.2 Abusive, discriminatory, aggressive, or inappropriate conduct will not be tolerated.
4.3 Members must comply with all Club policies, signage, and staff instructions.

5. Course & Facility Use
5.1 Members must adhere to tee-time booking rules; tee times always subject to availablity
5.2 Members must maintain pace of play.
5.3 The Club reserves the right to close the course or facilities due to weather, maintenance, or events.
5.4 Members are responsible for any damage caused to Club property.

6. Guests
6.1 Members may invite guests subject to guest fees
6.2 Members are responsible for the conduct of their guests.
6.3 The Club reserves the right to refuse entry to any guest.

7. Health & Safety
7.1 Members must comply with all health and safety regulations.
7.2 The Club accepts no liability for personal injury or loss of property except where caused by proven negligence.
7.3 Members participate in golf and related activities at their own risk.

8. Criminal Conduct
8.1 Members must disclose any criminal conviction relevant to safety or the reputation of the Club
8.2 The Club reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership if a member’s conduct (criminal or otherwise) may harm the Centre or its members.
8.3 Each case will be considered individually and fairly.

9. Suspension & Termination
9.1 The Club may suspend or terminate membership for:
– Non-payment of fees
– Breach of these Terms & Conditions
– Conduct deemed detrimental to the Centre
9.2 No refund will be given in cases of termination due to misconduct.

9.3 Membership cannot be suspended at the Member’s request, except in exceptional circumstances.

Requests must be made in writing. If for medical reasons, a current GP or Consultant letter confirming you are medically unfit to play golf is required.Any suspension is at the Club’s discretion, granted for a limited period only, and further medical evidence may be requested. If approved, no refund will be given; a discount will be applied to next year’s subscription instead.

10. Resignation
10.1 Members wishing to resign must provide written notice in accordance with their membership agreement.
10.2 Outstanding fees remain payable.

11. Data Protection
11.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with applicable data protection laws, please see more details in the Privacy Policy

12. Amendments
12.1 The Club reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.
12.2 Members will be notified of significant changes.

13. Acceptance
By submitting the Membership Application Form, the Member agrees to abide by these Terms & Conditions
